Fracture behavior of flax fibers reinforced earth concrete

چکیده

The mechanical behavior of earth concrete for sustainable construction has been studied in this paper. effect flax fibers on the fracture monitored using digital image correlation (DIC) and acoustic emission (AE) techniques to better understand process damage mechanism. Three-point bending tests have conducted prismatic specimens with different percentages (0%, 0.3% 0.6%) lengths (12 mm, 24 50 mm) fibers. AE activity energy increased percentage length Moreover, signal parameters varied loading rate mechanisms distinguished. Crack opening resistance also due bridging along developed cracks. Those results show benefits adding enhance ductility concrete.
